According to search engine data the term how to tie a shoe lace is searched 22,000 times a month. I had sold this for $3.00 each thinking that I could capture maybe 5000 payments a month and retire from selling this rather than all my sales combined from my store.
Well not to be. I did sell a few thousand at $1.00 each however. Laugh you may but it happened. I am trying a different method now. Figuring that you would be so happy that I told you how to keep the darn things tied that you would just out of the kindness of your heart give me a few dollars.
Once again well not to be. You read my story then think about and maybe try it right away and then move on. I will try it again few months telling you rather than charging you first.
Then I hope as I have in the past that you will just go thru the payment process and pay me lets say $5.00. Now $5.00 isn't that much considering gas prices and the cost of a glass of wine or bread.
This will end the aggravation of tieing shoes laces in double knots.
So here is the solution to the shoe lace loosening problem.
We were taught as youngsters to tie them correctly.
You must tie the first knot left under right or right under left.
The opposite way you do it now. Its tough to do but much easier to do this at the first step rather than with the second loop.
Then the loop tie the normal way you always have done it. If you tie the laces both in the same direction success you have tied a slip knot. This will loosen before you walk four feet.
The second way is a square knot. This will stay tight until you loosen them.
I suppose the one handed individual has the same problem if they are not tying the laces the right way.
So here I have given you the answer to the question about tieing your shoe laces. You now for the rest of your life will not ever have to tie your shoe laces in double knots. You can get dressed and wear the expensive shoes with the thin waxed laces and not even concern yourself about them loosening. You will even end up telling others that you now figured it out. I would normally ask you to buy me a drink but odds are we will never ever meet. Why not pay me $5.00. You had to search the web to figure it out and well it is worth it.
In the long run this is one of the best investments you ever made.
